Since 2016, Aras has worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Surgery at Katip Çelebi University, Faculty of Dentistry. As of 2021, she has been practicing as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Throughout her university and doctoral education, as well as her professional career, Aras has focused on patient-oriented approaches with various surgical techniques.

She has participated in many domestic and international trainings, congresses, seminars, symposiums, and fairs, especially in the fields of implantology and grafting. She continues to contribute with scientific written and oral presentations at national and international congresses.

Dr. Hazal Cankurt Aras actively performs all surgical procedures as a Maxillofacial Surgeon, specializing in All-On-Four and other implant treatments, Sinus Lift, Jaw and Joint Bone Disorders, among others.

She is a member of the Turkish Dental Association (TDB) and the Turkish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (TAOMS).
